Terms & Conditions

By accessing thesavorfest.com or purchasing a ticket to, or participating in, Savor The Islands (the "Event"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1 Event Information

Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026

Location: Brooklyn, New York (venue details provided to ticket holders)

Type: Outdoor Caribbean culinary festival open to the public

2 Ticket Purchases

  • All ticket sales are processed through Eventbrite. Eventbrite's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern all purchase transactions.
  • All sales are final. No refunds will be issued except in the event of a full event cancellation (not postponement).
  • Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organizers.
  • Organizers reserve the right to void tickets obtained through unauthorized channels or resellers.
  • Children under 12 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

3 Attendee Conduct

By attending the Event, you agree to:

  • Follow all venue rules and comply with instructions from event staff and security personnel
  • Not bring outside food, beverages, or alcohol onto the event premises
  • Conduct yourself in a respectful manner toward other attendees, vendors, and staff
  • Not engage in any unlawful, disruptive, or dangerous behavior

Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee from the Event for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

4 Photography & Media

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and consent that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured at the Event for promotional, commercial, and social media purposes by Savor The Islands and its authorized partners. Your attendance constitutes consent to appear in such materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform event staff upon arrival.

5 Vendor Participation

  • Vendor applications are subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of the organizers.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee participation or a vendor space.
  • Confirmed vendor spaces require a separate signed participation agreement and payment of the vendor fee.
  • Vendor spaces are non-transferable to other parties.
  • Vendors are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable food handling, licensing, and health regulations.

6 Event Changes & Cancellations

The organizers reserve the right to:

  • Modify the event lineup, programming, schedule, or venue without prior notice
  • Postpone the Event due to severe weather, force majeure, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
  • Cancel the Event if circumstances make it impossible or unsafe to proceed

In the event of a full cancellation (not postponement), ticket refunds will be processed through Eventbrite. No refunds will be issued for postponements, programming changes, or voluntary non-attendance.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Savor The Islands, its organizers, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the Event
  • Personal injury sustained at the Event, except where directly caused by our proven negligence
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from attendance or inability to attend
  • Allergic reactions or dietary responses to food or beverages consumed at the Event — all attendees are responsible for reviewing ingredients with individual vendors

8 Intellectual Property

All content on thesavorfest.com, including but not limited to the Savor The Islands name, logo, branding, event imagery, and written content, is the property of Savor The Islands and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

9 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.
